Geocachers ready for upcoming West Bend event

Valarie Bergum and her friend Nicole Koch fancy themselves treasure hunters.

The pair began participating in the outdoor treasure-hunting sport, called geocaching, more than two years ago and now they have a group of participants at Paragon Community Services in Plymouth - their place of employment - hooked as well.

"You never know what you're going to find," Plymouth resident Bergum, 37, said. "To me, it's good exercise. You're getting out, enjoying the weather. ...You see different things, neat things and it's just fun." ...
