Race the Lake kicked off its sixth-annual all citizen bicycle race around Lake Winnebago early Sunday morning.

An estimated 2,000 competitors took on the challenge of biking around Lake Winnebago Sunday morning, and the fastest of them did it in less than 3 hours.

The sixth annual Ganther Race the Lake started and ended near Fond du Lac's Lakeside Park, taking cyclists through Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha and Sherwood for a 90-mile ride that began before sunrise at 5:50 a.m. ...
