Cornhole championships more social this year

The game of cornhole -or bags, or whichever name you want to give it - is meant to be a social game. It's meant to be played with a beer in hand with a couple of friends.

And that's exactly what the Midwest Cornhole Championships held at Leach Amphitheater on Saturday by the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh wanted to do in their second season. They wanted to make it more social.

"It's a game that anybody can play," Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh Development and Marketing Director Tracy Ogden said. "Some players may be better than others, but everybody can play it." ...
