Sixth annual geocaching event a success in Washington County

The sixth annual West Bend $1,000 Cache Ba$h brought more than 900 teams and 1,700 people to the Geocaching Capital of the Midwest on August 9 and 10 in West Bend's Regner Park. Geocachers came from far and near, checking in from 33 states and three countries, including a woman from Holland, who traveled more than 4,000 miles to attend the bash.

Picture-perfect weather made the two-day geocaching extravaganza an enjoyable experience for all, and nearly 10% of the teams were able to find all 66 caches during the event.
