DNR: Bear hounds killed by wolves in Iron, Lincoln, Sawyer and Bayfield counties

Wildlife Services has confirmed four more hound depredations over the past few days.

Bear hounds have been killed in Iron, Lincoln, Sawyer and Bayfield counties. In all, 20 hounds have been depredated this bear training and hunting season.

Hunters are reminded to use caution while training and hunting with bear dogs.
