Adams County authorities looking for missing man

The Adams County Sheriff's Department is looking for a 78-year-old Friendship-area man who has been missing since Sunday evening.

Beleriano Medina was last seen at his residence at 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Department. A member of law enforcement had contact with Medina at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Sparta.

Medina is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 300 pounds, is balding with gray hair and brown eyes, according to the news release. He was driving a gray 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche pickup with Wisconsin Truck Registration JF7139.

Medina may be experiencing a medical condition and his destination is unknown, according to the news release.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on Medina's whereabouts to contact the Adams County Sheriff's Office at 608-339-3304 and reference case number 13-6426.
