Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band return to Milwaukee Sept. 8 for a show at the BMO Harris Pavilion. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

You can get some "Peace and Love" from Ringo Starr — literally — and meet the legendary Beatle himself in Milwaukee next month.

Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band are coming to the BMO Harris Pavilion on the Summerfest grounds Sept. 8.

Ringo Starr's "Peace and Love" is one of several pieces of art that will be on display at Gallery 505 Sept. 6 to 8. The free art show precedes Starr's BMO Harris Pavilion concert Sept. 8. Customers who purchase select pieces will get to meet Starr Sept. 8 and take a photo with him, with all proceeds benefitting the Lotus Foundation.

But from Sept. 6 to 8, Gallery 505, at 517 E. Silver Spring Drive in Whitefish Bay, will host a free Ringo Starr Fine Art Show.

Among the pieces on display is "Peace & Love," which depicts Starr, holding up spray cans, writing out his signature mantra.

That item, and every other on display, is signed by Starr, and will be available for purchase at Gallery 505. Customers who purchase select artwork will be able to meet Starr and take a photo with him before his Milwaukee concert.

All of Starr's proceeds will be donated to the Lotus Foundation, which provides funding and support to help victims of domestic and substance abuse, the homeless and other needs.

Tickets for Starr's show — which will feature Colin Hay, Toto's Steve Lukather and Santana and Journey co-founder Gregg Rolie — are $55 to $125, available at the Summerfest box office (200 N. Harbor Drive), by calling (800) 745-3000 or visiting ticketmaster.com.
