Country star Jason Aldean is Summerfest's first announced headliner for 2019

Summerfest on Wednesday announced its first 2019 headliner: country star Jason Aldean. 

Fellow country bro Kane Brown is also on the bill for the show scheduled for June 28 at the being-rebuilt American Family Insurance Amphitheater. 

Tickets go on sale at noon Nov. 9 at and and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Info on ticket prices wasn't immediately available; tickets include admission to Summerfest. 

Aldean's latest album, "Rearview Town," is his fourth consecutive Billboard album chart-topper. His 21 No. 1 country singles include "Drowns the Whiskey," "Girl Like You" and "You Make It Easy." 

Brown's self-titled debut album, released in 2016, was country music’s bestselling new-artist debut since 2014.

Brown has been a familiar face at Summerfest; he headlined the festival's U.S. Cellular Connection stage this past summer. 

Summerfest 2019 runs June 26-30 and July 2-7. 

On Thursday, the music festival also unveiled more details, including renderings, for the new American Family Insurance Amphitheater, which is being rebuilt in a $50 million, two-year project with the first phase expected to be completed in time for the 2019 festival.
