Musician Lana Del Rey performed at Veterans Auditorium in Des Moines on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019.

We have good news and bad news for those of you heading to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in September. (Then again, after a year and half of postponements and cancellations, the bad part shouldn't cut too deep.)

The Manchester, Tenn., festival has announced three acts will no longer perform this year: Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have all dropped off the lineup.

On the bright side, Bonnaroo has booked Khruangbin and RÜFÜS DU SOL to perform in their place.

No reason was given for the changes, but new career developments may have played a part. Last week, Lana Del Rey announced she was delaying the release of her next album, "Blue Bannisters," originally set for July 4. Meanwhile, Monáe recently joined the cast of the "Knives Out" sequel, which has started filming in Greece. Australia's King Gizzard will spend their September touring in their home country.

The 2021 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is scheduled to take place September 2 through 5. Tickets for this year's event sold out in a record three weeks.
