THE BACHELOR - Colton Underwood burst onto the scene during Season 14 of "The Bachelorette." It was his good looks, love for dogs and vulnerability that charmed not only Bachelorette Becca Kufrin, but all of Bachelor Nation. This former NFL player made a play for Becca's heart but was sadly sent home after professing he had fallen in love. Now Colton is back and ready to capture hearts across America yet again when he returns for another shot at love, starring in the 23rd season of ABC's hit romance reality series "The Bachelor," when it premieres in January 2019.

Colton Underwood's "Bachelor" franchise ex-girlfriend Tia Booth was surprisingly absent from the show's three-hour premiere Monday night, but she's speaking out on her own terms about their relationship.

Underwood, 26, debuted as the star of "The Bachelor" on Monday after two previous stints in the franchise last year on "The Bachelorette" and "Bachelor in Paradise." Booth, 27, was first featured on "The Bachelor" last year, and she and Underwood began dating. They broke things off when he went on "The Bachelorette" and later reunited on the set of "Bachelor in Paradise."

Underwood faced fan criticism when he announced his breakup with Booth just a day before ABC revealed him as the new Bachelor, though it appears now there's no bad blood between the two.

"Hey @coltonunderwood remember that time you wore a sleeveless sweatshirt at the beach and then we realized we were 0% compatible and solely meant to be supportive friends?" Booth joked in a NSFW Instagram photo caption on Monday. "Well here’s my support. Now keep your damn shirt on and go find you a gal... #allingoodfun"
