Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCArthy spoke with the media Friday morning for the final time until his team's game Sunday at the Minnesota Vikings. Here are the highlights of his conversation.

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy.

On Eddie Lacy in pad practice: I thought Eddie looked good yesterday. I thought Eddie Lacy had one of his better practices. It looks like he’s bouncing back. I’m curious to see what the trainers say today. So far, so good.

Ty Montgomery: Ty did not complete practice yesterday. So this will be a big day for him. He’s just not quite there.

On Packers’ offensive line having four players on injury report: They’ve been progressing. I would think they’d probably be probable for the game. I anticipate those guys will go.

On team’s lengthy injury report: I think it just reflects this time of year and I think it definitely reflects this stretch that we’re going through. When you play division games, they’re obviously tough on your players. This game Sunday will be no different with the quick turnaround the next two weeks, too. I think it more just reflects where we are in the season.

On sensing a big-game feeling: I would say we’re fortunate that we play in a lot of big games, but there’s no denying that this is an important game. I think both teams would view it that way. We view all of these division games as the most important of the year. We’re 1-1 in the division, so we’ve got a lot of work to do, and this is a big opportunity right in front of us. Winning division games on the road is a huge challenge. We feel very good about the way our preparation is going, the process, and we’re really looking forward to getting over to Minnesota and get going.

On how Davante Adams is feeling physically: I think he looks good. I think Davante’s clearly back. But I think it’s also, too, where you are in your season. So I can’t sit here and measure how every player feels. I’m sure every player in the National Football League is banged up at some level. and follow him on Twitter @ByRyanWood
