Unsolved crimes: Authorities look for person responsible for stealing 50-inch television

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Authorities are asking for help in finding the person or people responsible for a recent burglary to a residence.

Sometime between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. May 20, someone entered a residence in the 3200 block of Norton Street, Wisconsin Rapids Police Lt. Brian Krzykowski said. The person or people took a 50-inch flat screen Panasonic television, valued at about $1,000.

The person or people responsible also took two PlayStation 3 gaming systems, valued at about $300, Krzykowski said.

“The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is asking for the help of anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious on May 20 around 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.,” Krzykowski said.
