GREEN BAY - Participants in the Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protege program will be honored Wednesday.

The program, which will honor fifth-year participants, matches established mentors who can provide technical, managerial, financial and other expertise with proteges seeking to improve their businesses and take them to the next level. Over five years, the program resulted in the creation of more than 100 full- and part-time jobs at 27 companies. Average revenue growth was 250 percent.

Fifth-year participants include Michels Corp. of Brownsville, Diamond Discs International and Johnson's DCS, both of Milwaukee; Score, Schreiber Foods, Integrys Energy Services, Dos Chiles Catering and Giantseed Creative, all from Green Bay; Joro Innovations of Allouez; ThedaCare of Appleton; Custom Service Plastics of Lake Geneva, and Panacea Group of Seymour.

The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium.
