MADISON - Brett Favre needs a caddy for a round of charity golf.

Brett Favre

Favre, Mark Tauscher and PGA pros Steve Stricker and Andy North will play a 9-hole scramble round on June 25 at University Ridge Golf Course. Fans can bid to be caddies for Favre and Stricker. Bidding Friday morning was at $8,000 to be Favre's caddy and $5,501 to carry Stricker's clubs. Bids can be submitted until 2 p.m. June 16 at charitybuzz.com, said Janet Masters of American Family Insurance.

Money raised during the PGA Tour Champions American Family Insurance Championship June 24-26 will be split between American Family Children's Hospital of Madison and other local charities, Masters said.

Caddies for Tauscher and North were chosen earlier.

The Favre foursome will begin about 2 p.m. on June 25 on the 10th hole of University Ridge Golf Course. Starting time will depend on how quickly tournament play wraps up that day, Masters said.
