GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers put out a call for people to shovel snow from the benches at Lambeau Field.
The Packers play the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday at Lambeau. They have not played at home for two weeks, during which time snow has accumulated in the Lambeau Field bowl.
The team will employ as many as 650 shovelers, 18 years or older. Interested individuals can report to the Mills Fleet Farm Gate on Lambeau Field’s west side beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday and continuing through the day as needed.
Shovelers will be paid $10 an hour, with payment made immediately upon completion of work. The Packers will provide shovels.
