ASHWAUBENON – Event USA and the Green Bay Packers have ended a long-running partnership.

The Packers released a statement that said, "The parties mutually agreed to end their marketing and promotional relationship during the past offseason." The team said no additional comments would be provided.

In an email, Event USA owner Dennis Garrity said, "During the offseason we mutually agreed with the team to not continue with our current marketing and promotional arrangements."

Neither party offered a reason why the arrangement was terminated.

Event USA and its division known as Packer Fan Tours served as the “Official Tour Company” and “Official Game Package Company" for 24 seasons, according to its website. Football and the Packers are prevalent on the Event USA website, but gone are statements saying the company has any official status with the Packers.

Garrity said his company will continue to offer tickets and game packages for all home and away games. In addition to providing tickets, the company can provide transportation, lodging and tailgate parties as part of its game packages. It also provides tickets and services for others sports, concerts and events.

Event USA, 580 Cormier Road, is 28 years old.

"Since that time, we served almost 1 million fans of the Green Bay Packers. And we look forward to other opportunities to work with the team in the future," he said.

The Green Bay Packers are taking submissions to choose a fan photo to put on tickets for one game during the 2016 season.
