Packers' new website adds section on 100 years of football in Green Bay

GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers recently updated their Packers.com website and added a microsite featuring the team's 100 years of football celebration.
The new Packers.com site is oriented toward mobile use, which accounts for 78 percent of website visitors.
The Packers said the new website will allow them to update information more quickly and better share content with other NFL teams. All 32 NFL teams are creating websites of a similar design.
The website includes stories, videos, live press conferences, photo galleries and press releases.

The packers.com/100 microsite includes pages about each of the team's 10 decades, significant moments, uniforms, historic stadiums and each of the 100 Packers teams.
The site will feature one significant team moment each day for 100 days leading up to the regular season opening weekend. After Sept. 8, once all 100 moments have been released, fans will be able to engage in a season-long bracket-style tournament, voting for their favorite moments.
The site also will include an area where fans can share a Packers story and upload a photo for other fans to see.
