Green Bay grandmother is Packers Ticket Takeover winner
GREEN BAY – A little girl in a pink Green Bay Packers sweatshirt will adorn 80,000 game-day tickets sometime during the 2019 season.
Trisha Brown of Green Bay won this year's Packers Ticket Takeover Contest with a photo of her granddaughter raising her hands in a cheer while sitting on the base of the Vince Lombardi statue at Lambeau Field.
More than 40,000 votes were cast by fans after thousands of entries were narrowed down to five finalists. The finalists were decided by a panel of Packers officials. Fans picked the winner.
Brown, a lifelong Packers fan, took the photo of her granddaughter during training camp in July 2018. Brown and her family will receive tickets to the game which includes the photo.
Also winning tickets to a game in 2019 was Turtle Polk of Waukesha. Polk was selected randomly from among voters who were entered into the contest each time they voted.
