A sculptor made Carrie Underwood into cheese for her Fiserv Forum show, and it's the most Wisconsin thing ever

Cheesus, take the wheel.

Fiserv Forum is celebrating Carrie Underwood’s Thursday concert in Milwaukee in the most Wisconsin way possible: with a 40-pound bust of the country star carved in cheese.

The “Cry Pretty” singer posted a photo on social media Thursday night of her likeness, well, crying cheesy.

The block of cheese is served with strawberries and grapes, and Underwood said she was “speechless” at the cheddar creation. But there’s one key cheese pairing that’s missing, according to Carrie: wine.

And you know what? As Wisconsinites, we endorse a bit of alcohol with our dairy products.

The post garnered thousands of likes and hundreds of commenters — most of whom didn’t find the statue too gouda.

“Your forehead is not that big,” one wrote. “That is very scary!” another exclaimed. “Girl, let’s be real; that is the stuff of nightmares,” a third, obviously non-Wisconsin resident, wrote.

But in a twist of events that could only take place in the comments section of a Carrie Underwood cheese bust Facebook post, one Wisconsin fan came to the sculptor’s defense.

“I'm sure if some of you carved her out of cheese it would look worse than this!” the fan wrote. “You are beautiful, Carrie Underwood, even in cheese.”
