Kevin King, Lane Taylor active vs. Lions; Martellus Bennett out for Packers

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers will be at full strength in the secondary and on the offensive line for their Monday night game against the Detroit Lions.
Rookie cornerback Kevin King, who was added to the injury report Sunday with a back injury and was questionable, is active and expected to start. The Packers will also have safety Morgan Burnett back from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury.
It means King and Davon House will start at cornerback with Damarious Randall in the slot when the team goes to nickel. Rookie Josh Jones or veteran Marwin Evans will start opposite Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in place of Kentrell Brice, who was put on injured reserve this week with an ankle injury.
On the offensive line, guard Lane Taylor will return for the first time since injuring his ankle against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. This will mark only the second time the five offensive starters have opened the game together. They have played a total of 15 snaps together the entire year.
Tight end Martellus Bennett, who was listed as doubtful with a shoulder injury is out. So are outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks and defensive tackle Quinton Dial.
Rookie linebacker Vince Biegel will see his first NFL action after coming off PUP this week and rookie Montravius Adams will play for the second time this season. Biegel will fill some of Brooks' snaps and Adams will fill some of Dial's and recently released veteran Ricky Jean Francois'.
Here are the Packers' inactives:
- CB Donatello Brown
- ILB Joe Thomas
- OLB Ahmad Brooks
- OT Ulrick John
- OL Adam Pankey
- TE Martellus Bennett
- DT Quinton Dial
For the Lions, three former Packers are active, including recently signed OL Don Barclay, who was released this past week from the Packers' physically unable to perform list.
The others are WR Jared Abbrederis and DL Khyri Thornton.
The Lions will be without LT Greg Robinson. Brian Mihalik will start in place of Robinson.
