Two new coordinators highlight Packers' staff changes


Here is a list of the coaching hires and staff position changes announced Wednesday by Packers coach Mike McCarthy.
Offensive coordinator
Hired Indianapolis Colts associate head coach/offensive line Joe Philbin.
Replaces: Edgar Bennett (now Oakland Raiders wide receivers coach).
Defensive coordinator
Hired Seattle Seahawks defensive consultant Mike Pettine.
Replaces: Dom Capers.
Defensive passing game coordinator
Promoted cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt Jr.
Quarterbacks
Hired New York Giants quarterbacks coach Frank Cignetti.
Replaces: Alex Van Pelt (Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach).

Pass game coordinator
Hired Indianapolis Colts wide receivers coach Jim Hostler.
Wide receivers
Promoted David Raih from his former position as offensive perimeter coach.
Replaces: Luke Getsy (Mississippi State offensive coordinator).
Run game coordinator/offensive line
Promoted offensive line coach James Campen.
Defensive line
Rehired assistant defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery after Montgomery briefly left for a job with Texas A&M.
Replaces: Mike Trgovac (Raiders defensive line coach).
Defensive assistant
Rehired inside linebackers coach Scott McCurley after dismissing him the day after the season.
Defensive run game coordinator/inside linebackers
Hired New York Giants defensive line coach Patrick Graham.
Replaces: McCurley.
Secondary
Promoted assistant special teams coach Jason Simmons.
Replaces: Joe Whitt Jr and Darren Perry.
Special teams assistant
Hired Colts assistant special teams coach Maurice Drayton.
Replaces: Jason Simmons.
Defensive quality control
Hired Bowling Green safeties coach Ryan Downard.
Replaces: Tim McGarigle (Northwestern safeties coach).
