Former Alabama football wide receiver Jaylen Waddle signed an endorsement contract with Nike on Thursday.

Waddle is the third former Crimson Tide standout to be welcomed to the Nike football family. Waddle joins the major sports label with elite company, including 2015 Heisman trophy winner Derrick Henry and Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper.

Nike football announced the signing of Waddle on its Twitter page Thursday morning. The tweet included a short video of Waddle's highlights and high praise comments from Henry and Cooper, congratulating him on the signing.

"I wanna welcome you to the Nike family, I can't wait until you're a beast in the league," said Henry.

The Houston, Texas, native arrived on Alabama's campus as a four-star recruit and ended his career as an All-SEC receiver and national champion.

Waddle is a projected top-10 pick in this year's NFL Draft, which will begin April 29.
