USC offensive lineman Austin Jackson recently declared for the 2020 NFL draft.

It’s not hard to see why.

Jackson, who just finished his junior season with the Trojans, has shined in Los Angeles.

The former Phoenix North Canyon High standout has been surging up NFL draft boards and is projected to go as high as No. 10 in the first round of the NFL draft.

He has a very good chance to be the 22nd first-round NFL draft pick from Arizona.

Check out what NFL mock draft projections for the 2020 NFL draft are saying about Austin Jackson.

USA TODAY Sports: Austin Jackson lands with Vikings at No. 25

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz writes: “Minnesota's meltdown against the 49ers reinforced that the offensive line has to be addressed in some form. The biggest shortcomings are on the interior, but drafting Jackson could still allow for a reshuffling, particularly if Riley Reiff moves to guard.”

Walter Football: Austin Jackson taken by Browns at No. 10

It writes: “Perhaps the Browns will think twice about entering the season with Greg Robinson as their left tackle. They desperately need help on the offensive line. Austin Jackson is a terrific athlete with quick feet and superb agility.”

Draft Site: Austin Jackson selected by Jets at No. 11

Draft Tek: Austin Jackson picked by Jets at No. 11

I writes: “Jets' GM Joe Douglas has told fans he will work tirelessly to bring talented players "with a winning mentality to the franchise moving forward". As mentioned here many times, O-Line is the most glaring need and as a former O-Lineman himself, fans will hope Joe makes this area a priority. If Douglas doesn't bring in some heavy hitters in this area in FA, expect this upcoming draft to contain multiple O-Line picks. If Joe could replicate a draft like the Ferguson/ Mangold draft of '06, the impact could be huge. No pressure, Joe.”

Tankathon: Austin Jackson goes to Seahawks at No. 27

Sporting News: Austin Jackson ends up with Jets at No. 11

Vinnie Iyer writes: “The Jets might consider a wide receiver, but they also could use a rock for their offensive line in front of Sam Darnold. Jackson (6-6, 310 pounds) has entered the first-round fray as an athletic beast garnering more attention with his Trojans tape.”

Baltimore Sun: Austin Jackson chosen by Seahawks at No. 28

C.J. Doon writes: “It’s pretty much a lock that the Seahawks will target an offensive lineman after struggling to protect Russell Wilson in 2019.”
