Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari is back to chugging beers at Milwaukee Bucks playoff games
Green Bay Packers all-pro offensive lineman David Bakhtiari, who's most known for keeping Aaron Rodgers upright, is becoming known for something else: beer chugger at Milwaukee Bucks playoff games.
During the Bucks' run to the Eastern Conference finals two years ago, Bakhtiari was at three playoff games and downed beers to the delight of the crowd. And during the conference finals against the Toronto Raptors, he famously challenged Rodgers to do the same. It's safe to say Bakhtiari — who quickly slammed three beers — did more beer chugging than Rodgers did during his college days (we know scotch is more Rodgers' drink of choice).
Bakhtiari returned to Fiserv Forum Wednesday night and was at it again. During a first-quarter timeout, Bakhtiari was shown on the jumbotron from his seat and again chugged a beer, getting a sold-out crowd for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals fired up.
Unlike last time, though, there was no sign of his buddy Rodgers, who owns a small portion of the Bucks.
But there was another Packers teammate in attendance. Running back Aaron Jones, who got into the fun with Packers linebacker Za'Darius Smith during the last series, returned to Fiserv Forum Wednesday night.
Bakhtiari sure fits in with us, Wisconsinites, where we love our beer, cheese curds, custard, fish fries and Old-Fashioneds.
Here's a look at Bakhtiari's two most recent beer chugging events during Bucks playoff games. Which one is better? We love them both.
