Kevin Durant trade odds: Phoenix Suns favored in new odds to acquire Brooklyn Nets star
The Kevin Durant trade speculation has ramped up following the Brooklyn Nets' trade of Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.
It's heated up to the point where we now have odds for the NBA superstar's next home.
Several of them.
And according to all of them, the Phoenix Suns are the favorites to land Durant, should the Nets trade him.

OddsChecker's odds for Kevin Durant's next team puts the Suns at -125 to acquire him in a trade.
The Toronto Raptors are second at +200, while the Miami Heat are third at +450.
Only two other teams are listed in the odds, the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors are both at +1400.
Abby Moeckler wrote of Durant's trade odds: "These five teams would be incredible options for Durant to join, but these odds are only if the Nets decide to trade him as they did Kyrie. Back during the NBA offseason, KD had originally requested a trade and had Phoenix as his No. 1 preference. He then took this back and played in Brooklyn throughout the 2022-2023 season so far. The 34-year-old put on a monstrous first half to the season, landing himself an All-Star Game starter spot. The moves between Kyrie, Brooklyn, and Dallas went rather quickly, so who knows how fast a deal with KD might be done. The books are pretty confident that Durant will end up with the Suns, and it does make sense. Jae Crowder has not played a single game this season, Chris Paul is 37 years old and might be getting closer to retiring, and how insane of a duo would Kevin Durant and Devin Booker be? This is definitely something to keep your eyes on."

OddsShark has the Suns at +200, followed by the Celtics at +300 and the Warriors at +400 in its odds for Durant.
It has the Atlanta Hawks at +500, with the Raptors at +600. The New York Knicks (+750), Los Angeles Lakers (+900) and Los Angeles Clippers (+1000) are also included in its odds.
Of Phoenix's chances to acquire Durant, the site writes: "The Suns were the top destination when Durant requested a trade during the summer, and Phoenix remains atop the odds ahead of the deadline. The Suns’ +200 odds imply a 33.33 percent chance he’ll end up in the desert if traded. Phoenix reportedly dangled Chris Paul in an offer for Irving, and could move Paul and a bevy of draft picks to pair KD alongside Devin Booker."
Bookies.com's odds put Phoenix at +500 to be Durant's next team, with Golden State at +500, Toronto at +600 and New York at +650. It also had the Portland Trail Blazers at +1000, the Sacramento Kings at +1200 and "the field" at +440.
Report:Phoenix Suns offered Chris Paul, Jae Crowder, draft picks for Kyrie Irving
Speculation about Durant and the Suns has been swirling since Irving was traded Sunday and since TNT and Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes reported that the Suns "are prepared to pursue" the Brooklyn Nets star "Should he become available," on Sunday.
The Big Lead recently included Phoenix among three possible trade destinations for Durant with Liam McKeone writing: "It's only natural to start with the only team audacious enough to immediately leak that they'd be interested in Durant should he become available. Phoenix has the pieces to make a very attractive offer around Deandre Ayton's $30 million salary. The Suns have all their own picks so a trade of Ayton, Cam Johnson, and Jae Crowder along with two or three first-round picks is probably a starting point. The Nets will want Mikal Bridges and that could be a sticking point. But a deal could definitely get done between these two sides given how easy it is to make the money work."
Early odds certainly like the Suns' chances to acquire Durant.
Could Phoenix actually trade for him before the 2023 NBA trade deadline?
