NFL position rankings: Top ranked players at each position on NFL Top 100 list for 2020

The NFL Top 100 list produced by the NFL Network has become a talking point for players, fans and the media each year.

2020 was no different.

The players for the list were chosen based on voting from players in the league and created a lot of discussion throughout the NFL community.

13 quarterbacks made the list, led by No. 1 overall selection Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

16 defensive linemen made the rankings, with Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald first among them at No. 3 overall.

Lamar Jackson was voted the best player in the NFL by his peers.

New Orleans Saints standout Michael Thomas led the 17 wide receivers on the list at No. 5 in the rankings.

Christian McCaffrey, of the Carolina Panthers, was the first of 12 running backs in the NFL Top 100 at No. 6.

Four tight ends made the rankings with the San Francisco 49ers' George Kittle first among them at No. 7 overall.

Nine cornerbacks were chosen in the NFL Top 100 for 2020, with Stephon Gilmore of the New England Patriots leading the way at No. 9 overall.

The 14 linebackers on the list were led by the Seattle Seahawks' Bobby Wagner, who came in at No. 13 overall.

The Seattle Seahawks' Jamal Adams led the six safeties in the rankings with his No. 27 overall ranking.

The nine offensive linemen on the list were led by Indianapolis Colts OG Quenton Nelson, who came in at No. 29 overall.

No fullback, kicker, punter or long snapper made the 2020 NFL Top 100 list.
