The Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers play on Monday, Oct. 3, in a game on the NFL Week 4 schedule.

Which team will get the victory?

Check out these NFL Week 4 picks and predictions for the game, which can be seen at 5:15 p.m. MST on ESPN and ESPN2.

The 49ers are a 2.5-point favorite in the game.

NFL Week 4 picks, predictions:

The Arizona Republic: 49ers 20, Rams 17

Jeremy Cluff writes: "The Rams appear to have righted the ship with consecutive wins after their Week 1 loss. The 49ers somehow lost an 11-10 game in Denver in Week 3. San Francisco will find a way to rebound at home in a sloppy game."

Draft Kings: Go with the 49ers to cover against Rams

David Fucillo writes: "I suspect this line will see 49ers backers moving it. Enough of it could move this to three, which removes some of the value if you like San Francisco. The Rams won the last matchup in the playoffs, buy the 49ers had won the six previous. Kyle Shanahan had Sean McVay’s number before the 2022 NFC Championship Game, and I think he maintains some control on this rivalry for the coming primetime game."

NFL Week 4 odds: Take the 49ers on the moneyline vs. Rams

Bill Speros writes: "It will be closer than expected, especially now with Jimmy G back under center for San Fran. The 49ers defense is familiar with the Rams and this time it won’t be wrestling with Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. at the same time. OBJ is out until later in the season due to his Super Bowl ACL tear. The 49ers beat the Super Bowl champion Rams twice in the regular season last year before blowing a 10-point lead in the NFC championship game."

Fansided: Rams 27, 49ers 13

Peter Panacy writes: "The 49ers can respond two ways from last Sunday’s embarrassment. On one hand, Garoppolo looked very Garoppolo-like, and perhaps Los Angeles takes a page out of Denver’s book and loads the defensive box with five linemen to force Jimmy G to throw more. On the other hand, the Niners can enact some vengeance and look to get right back into the thick of the NFC West lead with a statement win over a Rams team still not quite at the level it was towards the end of last season. Unfortunately, at least based on San Francisco’s offensive struggles through the bulk of three weeks and amid injuries to players like Williams, the ideal outcome doesn’t seem great. No, we’re going to predict a Rams victory on Monday Night Football, them beating the 49ers by a score of 27-13 to further embarrass Shanahan and the Niners."

Pro Football Network: Go with the Rams with the points vs. 49ers

BJ Rudell writes: "We are reminded, yet again, that Jimmy Garoppolo is a glorified game manager. When the Niners are clicking on the ground, through the air, and on defense, he’s a fantastic piece of this puzzle. But when a game manager throws a late-game pick to essentially seal the loss, as well as takes four sacks, then there’s little room to recover. Although Matthew Stafford has struggled, the Rams should be favorites in this one. We haven’t yet seen the best from their defense, and their running game is just starting to function as a top-16 NFL backfield. The defending Super Bowl champs are ramping up, while the 49ers are at risk of stalling."

SB Nation: Rams will fall to 49ers in Week 4 game

Evan Craig writes: "Who do you trust more this week? Will the 49ers’ powerful defensive front be too much for the Rams’ makeshift O-line to handle or will they stay strong as they have the last two weeks? Will the Rams see a more consistent run game or will the Niners shut them down, making their offense one-dimensional? Unfortunately, I’m not seeing a victorious encore for LA in this matchup. My pick is for the Rams to go against the spread and drop a heartbreaker to the favored 49ers."

ESPN: Rams have a 43.3% chance to win the game

The site's Football Power Index gives the 49ers a 46.1% shot at picking up the victory.
