The NFL Network is counting down the Top 100 players in the league for the 2019 season, as ranked by the players, and just two Arizona Cardinals players made the list.

Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is ranked No. 60 and cornerback Patrick Peterson is ranked No. 46 on the list.

It is the ninth straight year that Fitzgerald has made the list. The list has only been released for nine years.

He was No. 27 in the rankings last season.

A pair of NFC West wide receivers raved about Fitzgerald in a segment about the wide receiver during the unveiling.

“I think I was in high school when he was still playing,” the Seattle Seahawks' Tyler Lockett said. “Being able to see how consistent he is when he’s out there on the field, doing the same things that allowed him to be that type of Hall of Fame caliber player, that’s what makes him really good.”

“He’s one of those players who just pay attention, love the game, love the player,” the Los Angeles Rams' Robert Woods said. “Just one of those players you looked up to, and after the game I went up to him this last year and said, ‘What’s up, Larry,’ and he was, ‘what’s up Robert, how you doing, I love your game.’ He’s one of those guys. You watch his highlights, you watch his stats, you watch him on YouTube, you watch him on film. And when these guys know your name, future Hall of Fame legend and things like that, I think that’s a big thing.”

Larry Fitzgerald is a staple in the NFL Top 100 rankings.

Peterson made the list for the eighth year in a row, which is every season he has been in the league.

He was No. 23 on the list last season.

Some opponents praised Peterson's game in a segment during the unveiling.

“He’s a guy that makes an impact in every game he is in,” 49ers tight end George Kittle said. “It doesn’t matter who he’s playing, he’s fired up, he’s ready to roll.”

“Patrick Peterson is definitely still a top 100 guy,” Chargers receiver Keenan Allen said.1 “You don’t see quarterbacks throwing over there. Still can make the plays. Still versatile. You still see him flying around and being competitive. Still lockdown.”

“He’s definitely a corner that earns a lot of respect from quarterbacks,” 49ers QB Nick Mullens said. “You have to know where he is at all times.”

Patrick Peterson is no stranger to the NFL Top 100 list.

Last season the Cardinals had three players in the rankings with Chandler Jones joining Fitzgerald and Peterson.

Jones was ranked No. 28. He did not make the list this season.
