Kyler Murray must really want new uniforms for the Arizona Cardinals.

On his Instagram story last week, the quarterback posted a mockup of some uniforms for the Cardinals.

The Instagram story appears to be the latest attempt by the quarterback to get a new look for his team.

Just over a year ago, he was caught commenting about his team's uniforms on his Twitch livestream.

“No, I don’t like our uniforms,” Murray said. “They’re outdated.”

Murray apparently said he liked the old uniforms that had the Arizona state flag on the sleeves, according to @CardsAvenue, but that wasn't caught on the clip.

In 2019, one uniform expert said the Cardinals have the worst uniform in the NFL.

USA TODAY Sports ranked them 30th in the NFL at that time (there are 32 teams).

Nate Davis wrote at the time:  "They've contracted Buffalo syndrome, dabbling way too much. Do yourself a favor, Cards, and go back to the Pat Tillman editions featuring the state flag on the shoulders."

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (1) would really like to have new uniforms.

In response to Murray's Instagram story, Fansided's Aarron Van Buren wrote that the Cardinals need to listen to their quarterback.

"If your starting quarterback is sharing these pictures and basically telling you to change your uniforms, you change your uniforms," he wrote. "Of course as of this writing Fitzgerald is not coming back yet, but the jerseys can be seen above. They are basically the 90’s away jerseys minus the blue stripe around the sleeves to match the state flag. Even the old Cardinal logo that seems twice as big to the current one comes back.  Murray is choosing to listen to the fans calling, and they’re loving it. For those who say that a fans can’t make a change in a franchise, then I will present them with this ongoing development and rest my case. Get it done, Cardinals."

Last month, however, a tweet from the team's official account said: "C'mon, you should know by now that we can't get you new uniforms or sign the players from your fantasy football team …"
