What are the odds that Kyler Murray starts the 2022 season with the Arizona Cardinals?

It depends on when you ask that question.

BetMGM recently released odds on Murray taking the first snap at quarterback for Arizona in Week 1 of the 2022 season and it had Murray at -2000 to be the starter with the Cardinals.

It doesn't have him with those odds now.

Yahoo Sports' Greg Brainos recently revealed that 80% of tickets in the BetMGM prop for the Cardinals' starting QB next season are betting on "any other quarterback" instead of Murray.

That huge number has prompted a big change in the odds with Murray now at -500, according to BetMGM, to start the season at QB for Arizona.

"Any other quarterback" is now at +340.

Will Kyler Murray be the Arizona Cardinals' starting quarterback in Week 1 of the 2022 season? The odds have shifted.

Those aren't the only odds surrounding the QB.

Fox Bet recently released odds on Murray's next team, should it not be the Arizona Cardinals.

The Tampa  Bay Buccaneers were  the favorite, at +500, followed by the Denver Broncos at +600.

Retiring and going to baseball was also at +600, with the Green Bay Packers (+700), Pittsburgh Steelers (+900), New York Giants (+1000), Indianapolis Colts (+1200) and Washington Commanders (+1200) rounding out the list.

With Murray under contract next season and the Cardinals holding an option for him in 2023, it is highly unlikely Arizona trades the quarterback.

But that hasn't stopped speculation beginning that the team could, if they don't envision him as a long-term solution at the QB position or don't want to pay him what he could demand.

Several sites have listed potential landing spots for Murray in recent stories and odds continue to come out for possible landing spots for the QB, should he get traded.

Right now everything just seems like rampant speculation and smoke.

Could the smoke eventually become fire?

Do you think Murray will be the team's Week 1 starter in 2022?
