How would Deebo Samuel look in an Arizona Cardinals' uniform? Trade speculation is swirling around the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver.

Trade speculation has swirled around the San Francisco 49ers' Deebo Samuel since ESPN's Jeff Darlington reported that the wide receiver had requested a trade.

The Arizona Cardinals are included in odds for Samuel's next team.

BetOnline released odds for landing spots for the dynamic wide receiver in a trade and the Arizona Cardinals came in at 20/1, tied for 13th on the list.

Just 16 teams were included in the odds.

The Indianapolis Colts were the favorites to land Samuel, at 9/2. The New York Jets were second at 5/1. The Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints were each at 11/2, with the Green Bay Packers rounding out the Top 5 at 6/1.

Arizona was tied with the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans at 20/1.  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, at 25/1, were last among the teams included in the odds.

Samuel, 26, compiled 1,770 yards from scrimmage last season (the third-highest total of any player). He also had 14 touchdowns, eight of which were rushing touchdowns.

He is set to earn $3.9 million next season, the final year of his contract, but has not been participating in the 49ers' voluntary offseason program.

While it might excite Cardinals fans to imagine Samuel lining up as the team's No. 2 wide receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins, is it realistic?

It's hard to imagine the 49ers trading Samuel to the rival Cardinals.

Fansided's Adam Patrick wrote: "While he would make the Cardinals‘ offense extremely dangerous in 2022, there is almost no chance that the 49ers would be willing to trade Samuel to Arizona, regardless of how much the Cardinals are willing to offer for the receiver. San Francisco is not about to trade one of the NFL’s most talented wide receivers to one of their NFC West rivals. So to anyone who is hoping Samuel finds his way to Arizona this year, it might be a good idea to not get your hopes up."

Draft Kings released its own set of odds and it had the Cardinals much lower on the list of being the wide receiver's next team.

It had Arizona tied with the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams as the biggest longshots in the NFL to deal for Samuel, at +10000.

Still, that didn't stop some people from speculating about Samuel on the Cardinals, with some even bringing up potentially including Kyler Murray in a possible trade.

The Cardinals have been included in a lot of wide receiver speculation this offseason, including speculation about N'Keal Harry, Julio Jones and Brandin Cooks. Nothing has come of it.

But it sure is fun to speculate about Samuel's potential fit on the Cardinals.

Hopkins added to the speculation Wednesday when he tweeted out a picture of him with Samuel with the caption: "Carolina boys good anywhere."
