Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season is almost in the books and several teams made statements in their games, for good and bad.

There's a new No. 1 in our NFL power rankings after the first week and a lot of shuffling in the order.

Check out how we rank the 32 teams in the NFL heading into Week 2 of the 2022-23 season, from lowest to highest. Previous ranking in parenthesis.

NFL Week 2 picks, predictions:

32. New York Jets (28) - This team could still end up being much improved this season, but we didn't like how it looked in a 24-9 loss to the Ravens. Perhaps Zach Wilson will help?

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (29) - We think that Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will get better, but they showed they have a long way to go in a 28-22 loss to the Commanders.

30. Atlanta Falcons (32) - We're elevating Atlanta three spots after its 27-26 loss to the Saints in Week 1. This is a team that could give some teams fits this season.

29. Houston Texans (31) - The Texans tied the Colts in Week 1. That's a victory for Houston in our book.

28. New York Giants (30) - We were surprised the Giants were able to get a 21-20 win over the Titans in the season opener.

27. Carolina Panthers (23) - The Panthers came very close to winning their season opener against the Browns in a 26-24 loss. They might have a lot of close losses this season.

26. Seattle Seahawks (27) - Geno Smith and the Seahawks got an impressive 17-16 win over Russell Wilson and the Broncos on Monday night. Could this team surprise in 2022?

25. New England Patriots (13) - Yes, that's a huge drop for New England, but the Patriots did not look good in a 20-7 loss to the Dolphins.

24. Tennessee Titans (19) - We thought we might have been down too much on the Titans before they lost to the Giants in Week 1. Now, we wonder if we weren't down on them enough.

23. Arizona Cardinals (16) - The Cardinals lost to the Chiefs, 44-21. Yes, they have some injuries, but they also have little depth to help mitigate those injuries.

NFL Week 2 odds:

22. Detroit Lions (24) - The Lions lost, but we're moving them up a couple of spots for the way they stayed with the Eagles in a 38-35 loss. This team could surprise this season.

21. Denver Broncos (21) - We're going to keep the Broncos right here after their 17-16 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night. A loss in Week 2 to the Texans, however, would drop them considerably.

20. Las Vegas Raiders (14) - This team had a slow start against the Chargers in their 24-19 loss, but Davante Adams gives it a very dangerous weapon at all times on offense.

19. Chicago Bears (26) - We're not quite sure what to make of the Bears after their 19-10 win over the 49ers, but we're rewarding them for knocking off San Francisco.

18. Cleveland Browns (25) - We didn't think Cleveland would beat Carolina in Week 1, but they found a way to get a 26-24 win. Maybe we overestimated the impact of Deshaun Watson's suspension.

17. Dallas Cowboys (11) - Dallas looked awful in Week 1 and now has Dak Prescott's injury looming over the team. It could get real ugly, real fast for the Cowboys after a 19-3 loss to the Buccaneers.

16. Washington Commanders (22) - Maybe Carson Wentz and the Commanders can be a contender in 2022, although a 28-22 win over the Jaguars might not be overly impressive.

15. Indianapolis Colts (8) - This team is supposed to roll to the division title. A tie with the Texans in Week 1 is not the way to do that.

14. San Francisco 49ers (10) - We're willing to give San Francisco a mulligan in the season opener. That game in Chicago was just weird. A Week 2 loss however would be devastating.

13. Green Bay Packers (6) - Maybe losing your top wide receiver in the offseason is not a recipe for success? The Packers also lost in Week 1 last season in embarrassing fashion, however.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (20) - Maybe we underestimated the Steelers in Week 1. This defense is special, although T.J. Watt's injury could be devastating.

11. Cincinnati Bengals (3) - The Bengals appeared to be suffering from a Super Bowl loss hangover in Week 1, but did rally to force overtime against Pittsburgh. No reasons for huge concerns yet.

10. New Orleans Saints (18) - The Saints rallied to defeat the Falcons in Week 1, 27-26 and Taysom Hill continued to do Taysom Hill things under a new coach.

9. Minnesota Vikings (17) - Justin Jefferson is just special. Perhaps teams should try to stop him? It looked like the Packers weren't in the Vikings' 23-7 win over Green Bay.

8. Miami Dolphins (15) - Tua Tagovailoa is key for Miami this season, but the Dolphins' defense could also play a big role like it did in a 20-7 win over the Patriots.

7. Baltimore Ravens (12) - Lamar Jackson is so difficult to defend and so dynamic, as demonstrated in a 24-9 win over the Jets.

6. Philadelphia Eagles (9) - The Eagles edged the Lions, 38-35. Jalen Hurts and the offense could put up a lot of points this season.

Kliff Kingsbury's Arizona Cardinals did not get off to a good start in Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season.

5. Los Angeles Rams (1) - Yes, the Rams are 0-1, but this team is loaded and they faced a tough, motivated Bills team in Week 1.

4. Los Angeles Chargers (7) - Is Justin Herbert ready to take the next step this season? He's been taking huge steps each season and a 24-19 win over the Raiders was a nice start for Los Angeles.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5) - The Buccaneers' defense held the Cowboys to three points in a 19-3 win. That's a good sign going forward. Is Tampa Bay the NFC favorite?

2. Kansas City Chiefs (4) - Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs still have a lot of weapons and they still have Andy Reid as coach, as demonstrated in a 44-21 win over the Cardinals.

1. Buffalo Bills (2) - This team knocked off the defending champions in Los Angeles in Week 1 and looked really good in doing so. That makes them the team to beat in the NFL right now in our book.
