Dec. 19, 2004: The Lions just needed an extra point to tie the Vikings with eight seconds remaining ... until long-snapper Don Muhlbach bounced the snap to holder Nick Harris, who was tackled before he could spot the ball for Jason Hanson. The Lions lost, 28-27, and officially fell out of playoff contention.

Just when we think the Detroit Lions can't possibly find another way to lose, they do.
