Lions safety Glover Quin runs the ball during practice Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Allen Park.

Glover Quin has one of the longest consecutive games played streaks in the NFL, and for the Detroit Lions to get the full value of the two-year, $13 million extension he signed last week, he'll have to stay one of the league's top ironmen.

Quin received a $5 million signing bonus as part of the deal he signed to stay in Detroit through the 2019 season last week.

He has base salaries of $900,000 this year, $3.85 million next year and $5.25 million in 2019, plus per-game roster bonuses the next two years.

In 2018, Quin has a $3.6 million guarantee for injury only that becomes fully guaranteed on the third day of next year's league year.

He also has a $500,000 roster bonus due the second day of the 2018 league year, and $250,000 workout and $250,000 roster bonuses in each of the next two seasons.

The Lions have included per-game roster bonuses in the contracts of many of the free agents they sign, but top-tier free agents like Marvin Jones and Rick Wagner have avoided the team-friendly incentive.

Quin, who's made 116 straight starts, will receive $15,625 for every game that he's active in 2018-19.

Just $5.9 million of Quin's contract was fully guaranteed at signing. Here's the full breakdown of the deal, which lowered Quin's cap number from $7.8275 million to $6.394 million this year.
