With up to 4 inches of snow expected by Friday morning, the Green Bay Packers on Thursday put out the call for people to help shovel out the Lambeau Field seating bowl for Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Up to 500 shovelers will be needed, the team said in a press release. They are asked to report to the Mills Fleet Farm gate on the stadium's west side starting at 10 a.m. Friday. Shovelers must be at least 15 years old and will be paid $10 per hour. The Packers will provide shovels.
Those who shovel on Friday may experience an Ice Bowl of their own. Friday is expected to be sunny, but the high temperature will be near zero. Gusty west winds are expected create wind chills of 20 below to 25 below.
