Packers Family Night practice set for Aug. 8

The Green Bay Packers will again have a full practice, and not an intrasquad scrimmage, on Packers Family Night, which will be Saturday, Aug. 8, at Lambeau Field the team announced Wednesday.
The 15th annual event begins at 5:30 p.m. Team events include 11-on-11 drills and a random giveaway of Packers jerseys worn during the practice. The evening again will conclude with fireworks and a laser show.
Family Night comes nine days after the Packers open training camp on July 30 and five days before the preseason opener at New England on Aug. 13.
Tickets go on sale June 22 at 10 a.m. CDT through Ticketmaster, via phone or online, and in person at the Packers' ticket office. They are $10, with no limit. Parking will be $5.
Tickets for groups of 50 or more also are available. The application form is available online, in person at the Packers ticket office or can be faxed by calling 920-569-7501. Group tickets cannot be resold.
In the event of bad weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. to the end of the fireworks show – are canceled.
Packers Family Night also will be televised live on WLUK-TV in Green Bay, WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau, WLAX-TV in La Crosse, WEUX-TV in Eau Claire and WLUC-TV in Marquette, Mich.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program.
