Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (12) shouts instructions to his teammates at the line of scrimmage during Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

After a two-year hiatus, Aaron Rodgers is back on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Fresh off a 31-23 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 1, the Green Bay Packers quarterback is featured on the national cover of this week's issue. The headline reads: "The mind game of Aaron Rodgers" and refers to him as "The MVP QB."

Rodgers last appeared on the magazine's cover for the Aug. 12. 2013 issue, for their fantasy football season preview. It's the eighth Sports Illustrated cover for Rodgers, and ninth if you include the commemorative issue following the Packers' Super Bowl XLV victory on Feb. 6, 2011.

Offensive linemen Josh Sitton, T.J. Lang and David Bakhtiari also are picture on the cover, blocking for Rodgers as he passes against the Bears in Sunday's game at Chicago.
