Packers won't play in London in 2016
The Green Bay Packers will not go to London in 2016.
NFL teams playing in London next year will be the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams and an NFC East team to be determined.
The NFL has agreed to play a minimum of 19 games in England over the next four years as it adds two stadiums to its traditional Wembley Field home away from home.
The Packers have said they would like to play overseas, but not at the expense of a home game, which has a disproportionate economic impact on Green Bay compared to other NFL cities. Other NFL teams also are reluctant to give up a home game against the Packers because the team normally sells out.
The NFL is committed to play three games again in 2017, but that number jumps to five in 2018.
