Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers: Each cemented their place in Packers history by winning the Super Bowl. But which quarterback performed the best when the stakes were the highest?
You make the call.
Enter our “Ultimate Championship Super Draft” contest — in recognition of the Super Bowl’s 50th anniversary — and choose your all-time Packers Super Bowl team.
It’s easy to play. Simply build a team by selecting the best Packers player at each position (offense, defense and special teams, plus a coach) from the lists provided online. The idea is to pick a team based on how the players and coaches performed in the four Super Bowls that were won by Green Bay: Super Bowl I, II, XXXI and XLV.
So at quarterback, for example, choose Starr, Favre or Rodgers based solely on how they played in their Super Bowl victories. Career statistics mean nothing here: What matters is how each Packers player or coach fared on the NFL’s biggest stage.
After readers submit their “Ultimate” team, a panel consisting of members of USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin's Packers coverage team will judge each submission and select the entry it thinks best represents the “Ultimate” team. The winning entry will receive a Packers helmet signed by running back Eddie Lacy.
