Fourteen communities and Brown County will pick up trees Wednesday at Meacham Nursery in Pittsfield. Three nurseries — Meacham, Leaves Inspired of Chilton and Silver Creek — provided the trees to be distributed. Sponsors include SCA and Green Bay Packaging Inc. The state Department of Natural Resources and Wisconsin Public Service Corp. help administer the program.

A variety of trees, such as elm, linden, lilac, oak, honey locust and flowering crab trees, will be available and are to be planted in the communities.
