Packers collectible confirms ownership

GREEN BAY - For just shy of $40, the Green Bay Packers are offering shareholders a collector's item document that affirms ownership of the team.

The team says it received numerous requests in recent years from shareholders who want to showcase their ownership at multiple locations, but duplicate stock certificates cannot be created. The personalized document, which includes a Packers-related photograph, verifies the owner is a shareholder. New versions of the document will be offered annually.

The collectible is available only to shareholders. The Packers stress it is not a new stock offering and none is anticipated.
