GREEN BAY –The G-Line, a Green Bay Metro Transit bus line that provides free rides between Lambeau Field/Cabela's and downtown Green Bay began its second year of operation Wednesday. It will be available through the Wisconsin-LSU game at Lambeau Field on Labor Day Weekend.

Stops from downtown to Cabela's include Dousman Street at Donald Driver Way; Broadway at Walnut Street; Broadway at Ninth Street; Lombardi Avenue at 10th Avenue; Brett Favre Pass at Holmgren Way; Lombardi Avenue at South Ridge Road (Lambeau Field) and Cabela's.

Stops from Cabela's to downtown include Lombardi Avenue at South Ridge Road; Brett Favre Pass at Holmgren Way; Bart Starr Drive at Lombardi Avenue; Broadway at Ninth Street; Broadway at Walnut Street; Washington Street at Cherry Street, and the transit center.

On Wednesdays, the route detours around the Farmers' Market on Broadway.

Hours are 10:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Saturdays.

A bus leaves every half hour.
