Mike Holmgren to share Packers memories at Meyer

GREEN BAY - Former Packers head coach Mike Holmgren will share more than three decades of football memories at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Meyer Theatre.
The Packers Hall of Fame coach will sit down with WFRV-TV sports director Burke Griffin for “An Evening with Mike Holmgren,” a night that will cover football, family and the upcoming 20th anniversary of the Packers’ victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.
Holmgren, 68, will talk about his early days as a high school and college coach, winning Super Bowls XXIII and XXIV with the San Francisco 49ers and bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to Green Bay in 1997. His time spent coaching Packers quarterback Brett Favre is also sure to lend itself to some stories.
