GREEN BAY - Rookie receiver Trevor Davis has recovered from his first NFL injury.

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Davis “didn’t really have any limitations” in Thursday’s practice after missing time with a shoulder injury. He was listed as a full participant Thursday after being limited in Wednesday’s practice.

“So we’ll see how he goes through (Friday),” McCarthy said. “I liked the way he worked. I didn’t think he had any setbacks, and he had a couple nice catches, particularly in the team periods, was productive. His special teams work was good. So we’ll see how he progressed (Friday), and how we’ll utilize him (Sunday).”

Davis injured his shoulder in the Packers’ preseason finale at the Kansas City Chiefs. He was inactive for the Packers opener in Jacksonville.

The Packers kept seven receivers on their 53-man roster, an influx at that position. It’s unclear whether Davis, the seventh, will be on the 46-man gameday roster when the Packers play Sunday night at the Minnesota Vikings.
