Welcome to your Morning Buzz, rounding up news and views regarding the Green Bay Packers from around the web and here at PackersNews.com. Grab a cup of coffee and get ready for your day.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham walks on the field before an NFL football game against the Minnesota Vikings Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, in Minneapolis.

To start, Bob McGinn has his scouting report up for the New York Giants. Every aspect of the Packers' next opponent is explored in Bob’s weekly must-read.

Next, Eric Barancczyk and Pete Dougherty explain why the Packers’ NFL-leading run defense has staying power, unlike last year when Dom Capers’ group started well but faded as the season went on.

Do not miss Tom Silverstein and LeRoy Butler in their weekly videos, 5 Questions and X’s & O’s.

I chatted Packers with readers for a little over half an hour Tuesday at the PackersNews Facebook page.

No player is under a bigger microscope this week than Packers cornerback  Damrious Randall. Jason Wilde takes a look at the second-year defensive back for the Wisconsin State Journal.

Mike McCarthy called in to Brett Favre’s show Tuesday on SiriusXM NFL Radio. (Who would have ever thought that would be an actual sentence after the summer of 2008…)

You can hear McCarthy and Favre talk about the upcoming matchup with the Giants as well as the similarities between Favre and Aaron Rodgers in the clip below.

As for the Packers’ upcoming opponent, it seems the Giants’ quarterback has a different take on some of the attention his star receivers’ continual sideshow is attracting, both from opposing teams and the officials.

Looks like a former first-rounder for the Packers has found a new home down south.
