ASHWAUBENON - Lodge Kohler is taking reservations for a planned July 2017 opening.
The four-diamond hotel is one of the signature anchors of the Green Bay Packers' Titletown Development. The others are Hinterland Brewery and Bellin Health Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. Kohler Co. held a topping-off ceremony Wednesday with the placement of the last exterior beam for Lodge Kohler.
The 110,000-square-foot hotel will have 144 rooms on five floors, including 10 suites; a top-floor, panoramic bar, restaurant and cigar terrace; a full-service garden spa, six treatment rooms, three finishing stations; innovative water treatments, therapeutic massage, facial and body exfoliation and renewal. Also, an indoor/outdoor pool opening to a garden, a fitness facility and private courtyard. And a gift shop that sells the expected items and the unexpected, such as world champion cheeses, smoked salmon and Packers artifacts on consignment.
The Titletown District is a 35-acre commercial/recreational/residential development immediately west of Lambeau Field. The three anchors are expected to open by the start of the 2017 NFL season.
Ten acres in the middle of the development will be a public space that includes a winter tubing hill as well as a skating rink, football-themed playground, full-sized football field and programmable spaces.
The Packers also plan as many as 70 townhouses on the south side of the district, along Brookwood Drive.
Five room styles at Lodge Kohler will be available for midweek rates starting at $195 and game-day rates starting at $463, exclusive of taxes. Lodge Kohler is taking reservations for July through December 2017.
The company also released its first interior design renderings.
"Guests will be embraced by a neutral color palette set against warm wood tones, bronze accents and patinaed finishes," said Tim Andreas, director of architecture and interior design for Kohler Co.
