Welcome to your Morning Buzz, rounding up news and views regarding the Green Bay Packers and the NFL from around the web and here at PackersNews.com. Grab a strong cup of coffee, or brew some English breakfast tea if that’s your thing, and get caught up on everything you need to know about the Packers.

The NFL released the preseason schedule on Monday. Tom Silverstein has the latest on the teams the Packers play.

In 2017, the Packers have to play only four games and they will start and finish at home, beginning with the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field sometime between Aug. 10-14.

Dates and times have not been finalized for the first three games, but the finale will be played against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, Aug. 31, at Lambeau Field.

In between, the Packers will play at Washington and Denver.

None of the four games is slated for national television, which means Thursday, Sunday and Monday games are less likely. The exact dates and times for the games usually are released at the same time as the regular-season schedule. The NFL has not announced a date for the regular-season release, but it typically comes in mid-April.

Elsewhere, using the tendency work from Justis Mosqueda, the Packers Wire produced a seven-round Packers mock draft.

Cory Jennerjohn takes on the NFL’s hypocritical gambling stance:

The man whose name adorns the Packers' practice facility was recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Monday.

The Packers are still one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl:

Jeff Janis got a shout-out from the Rock:

It’s not Packers related, but this really spoke to me.
