DE PERE – It's back on. Eddie Lacy's garage sale is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

The former Green Bay Packers and current Seattle Seahawks running back had planned the sale for April 7-8, but was unable to get back to Green Bay because of airline difficulties. Presumably, travel is factored into this weekend's schedule.

Lacy announced the "garage and moving" sale on Twitter and Facebook on Tuesday afternoon. It is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at a place he intends to announce Friday morning on Twitter and Facebook, though he also said in his tweet, "ya'll seem to have figured it out already." A prevailing rumor is that the sale will be at The Swan Club, but the Swan Club owner said it would not be there.

Lacy said all money will be given to a charitable organization, which was not named, and unsold items donated to Freedom House in Green Bay. Freedom House provides emergency housing to families, helping them find permanent housing and employment.

At the time of the previously scheduled sale, Lacy advised would-be buyers to have reasonable expectations. "Caution...ya won't find any Fine China, Gucci sneaks or flat screens, I'm pretty simple. Just raising a few bucks for a good cause."

Seattle signed Lacy as a free agent in March. He played for the Packers from 2013 through 2016.
