GREEN BAY – Oddsmakers expect the Green Bay Packers to be among the NFL’s winningest teams during the 2017 season, but they have company.

Green Bay Packers receiver Geronimo Allison reacts after a reception for a first down against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.

The Packers' win total was projected to be among the league’s top five, according to over-under odds placed this week by online sports betting agency Bovada. The Packers' over/under of 10 projected wins tied the Oakland Raiders for fourth most in the NFL, behind the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots (12 1/2), the Seattle Seahawks (10 1/2) and Pittsburgh Steelers (10 1/2).

No other teams were projected for double-digit wins.

It’s an early glimpse at which teams oddsmakers believe are favorites to win Super Bowl LII in February. For the Packers, it’s also familiar territory. Since their last Super Bowl title in 2010, the Packers have tied for the league lead in preseason projected win totals four times: 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016.

They were given an over/under of 10 1/2 wins by Bovada last season before finishing 10-6, good enough to win the NFC North title.

The Packers will play two of their fellow top-five members. They host the Seahawks at Lambeau Field to open the 2017 season Sept. 10. On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, they travel to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a Sunday night game Nov. 26.
