James Starks plans August moving sale
HOWARD – If you didn't get a chance to buy Eddie Lacy's stuff, you can buy James Starks' stuff instead. And it looks like he's selling more of it.
Starks, a former Green Bay Packers running back, scheduled a moving sale for Aug. 25-26 at his home in Howard. Starks was with the Packers from 2010 to 2016. He was not brought back by the team for the upcoming season and remains an unsigned free agent.
Janel Griffiths of Bumble Puppy Estate Sales, Appleton, said Starks is selling pretty much everything that he doesn't have a personal attachment to.
"It's basically the whole house," she said. "Estate sales and moving sales, in general, are becoming more popular. The cost of moving is just astronomical."

Included in the sale will be leather and other furniture, kids' bedroom sets, televisions, electronics and kitchen items. Maybe even a dirt bike.
There will be men's, women's and children's Packers clothing, but not necessarily a lot of personal Packers gear.
"He's going to sign some things. There will be letters of authenticity," Griffiths said.
The sale will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 25 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 26. Starks will not be at the house during the sale. The address will be publicized closer to the event.

Lacy, a former Packers running back now with the Seattle Seahawks, held a moving sale at his De Pere home in May to a big turnout of Packers fans.
